ROCvA-F is verantwoordelijk voor de veiligheid van alle gebruikers van de gebouwen van het ROCvA-F. Voor het borgen van de veiligheid in de gebouwen zijn onder andere goed werkende blusmiddelen benodigd die voldoen aan wet- en regelgeving. De opdracht betreft het in stand houden (preventief en correctief onderhoud en inspectiewerkzaamheden) van de blusmiddelen. Daarbij hoort ook het leveren van de blusmiddelen inclusief toebehoren zoals omkasting en pictogrammen conform de inventarislijst.
