Cos'è Il soggetto che gestisce il presente Bando è Sapienza Università di Roma, in qualità di Leader di Spoke 2 del Centro Nazionale “National Center for Gene Therapy and Drugs based on RNA Technology”. Nello specifico lo Spoke 2 ha come scopo di sviluppare terapie a base di RNA per il trattamento delle neoplasie e le metastasi nell’ambito del programma di ricerca del CN RNA & Gene Therapy. Le attività principali sono focalizzate sull’identificazione di bersagli molecolari nei tumori umani e che possono essere regolati da RNA inibitori, come ASO o siRNA, lo sviluppo di strategie per aumentare l'immunogenicità del tumore utilizzando RNA terapeutici, l’identificazione e l’analisi di biomarcatori diagnostici, prognostici e di risposta ai trattamenti e lo sviluppo di pipeline per vaccini antitumorali.
