Cos'è L'obiettivo generale del progetto è fornire percorsi diagnostici predittivi e non invasivi nuovi, economicamente vantaggiosi e basati sull'evidenza, per una previsione, individuazione e un monitoraggio più rapidi, precoci, precisi, accessibili ed economici per le malattie monogeniche (rare), poligeniche (cardiovascolari e metaboliche) e del cancro, nonché per identificare approcci terapeutici innovativi ed efficaci. Il progetto HEAL ITALIA mira inoltre ad identificare e ridurre le disuguaglianze (estremamente ampie tra Nord e Sud Italia) sviluppando una roadmap di collaborazione interregionale per definire percorsi basati sull'evidenza e facilmente utilizzabili nella pratica clinica. A chi si rivolge Il Programma HEAL Italia, promuove uno schema basato su finanziamenti a cascata (Cascade funding) per sostenere progetti Proof-of- Concept (PoC) con processi di ricerca industriale e sviluppo sperimentale che coinvolgano imprese (PMI, start-up, spin-off1), IRCCS, Organismi di ricerca
