PADDI+ is recruiting an international services provider (the contractor) to deliver direct local support to communes and community organizations to strengthen their organizational capacities in sustainable land development/management. The contractor will provide support to the project's partners and beneficiaries around seven protected areas (PA) in Madagascar (i.e. Andohahela, Ankarafantsika, Ankarana, Analamerana, Marolambo, Midongy du Sud and Montagne d'Ambre). Under this assignment the contractor is expected to contribute to: - increasing the budget allocated by communes to the protection of ecosystem services; - increasing the ownership of local populations on the implementation of environmental measures; - enhancing the collaboration between local communities and Madagascar national parks; - increasing the application of sustainable forestry and agricultural practices around PA.
