Het Smart Screening Lanes (SSL)-project is een strategisch initiatief om het veiligheidscontroleproces voor passagiers en handbagage op Brussels Airport te moderniseren door de implementatie van nieuwe veiligheidsscanners, CT/ATRS-technologie en bijbehorende systemen, in lijn met de toekomstige EU-luchtvaartveiligheidseisen voor apparatuur voor de screening van passagiers en handbagage. Om de installatie van de nieuwe screening lanes mogelijk te maken, moet het bestaande Connector-gebouw worden aangepast. Het werkpakket van de aannemer omvat oa (niet exhaustief): • Structurele werkzaamheden ter ondersteuning van de gewijzigde passagiersstromen, mogelijk inclusief de integratie van trappen en roltrappen tussen de verschillende verdiepingen van de Connector; • Upgrade van technische installaties, oa inclusief HVAC, om te voldoen aan de normen voor het binnenklimaat en de toekomstbestendigheid van het Connector-gebouw te verbeteren. • Update van de brandveiligheidssystemen
