Prosjektet skal planlegge og teste bruk av nivåmålere i avfallsbeholdere og containere for husholdning- og næringsavfall. Teknologien skal gi løpende oversikt over fyllingsgrad og tømmemønster, og endringer i bruksmønstre. Dette skal muliggjøre behovsbasert tømming, smartere ruteplanlegging og lavere ressursbruk. Første fase er i 2026 og 2027 for å danne grunnlag for videre investeringer i 2027-2029.
