Pilotprojekt på max 18 månader och utvecklingsprojekt på max 24 månader. Minst ett experiment ska genomföras vid synkrotron eller neutronspridningsanläggning. Utvecklingsprojekt ska även bidra till förbättrade industrirelevanta experimentmöjligheter Aktörsgrupper med minst ett svenskt företag och minst en ytterligare svensk organisation med kompetens inom neutron- och synkrotronljusbaserade tekniker. Bara små och medelstora företag kan söka pilotprojekt. Alla företag kan söka Utvecklingsprojekt Pilotprojekt kan söka max 500 000 kronor. Utvecklingsprojekt kan söka max 1 500 000 kronor. Minst 30 procent av sökt belopp ska medfinansieras av utvecklingsprojektets behovsägande företag
