Im Rahmen der Maßnahme soll ein Ultra-High-Performance-Liquid-Chromatography-System (UHPLC) für Nanobis Mikroflussanwendungen beschafft werden. Das System dient der chromatographischen Trennung komplexer biologischer Proben vor der massenspektrometrischen Analyse und soll insbesondere für hochsensitive proteomische Anwendungen in den Bereichen Infektionsforschung, Immunologie, Pandemievorsorge sowie Wirkstoff- und Biomarkerforschung eingesetzt werden. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Analyse limitierter Probenmengen, einschließlich Single-Cell- Proteomik, Low- Input-Proteomik, Biomarkerstudien, Differential-Proteinexpressionsanalysen, Untersuchungen von Wirts- Pathogen- und Wirkstoff-Pathogen-Interaktionen, sowie die Analyse von nativen Proteinen und größeren Komplexen. Hierfür sind höchste chromatographische Trennleistung, maximale Probenwiederfindung und eine verlustarme Nano- bis Mikrofluss- Chromatographie erforderlich.
