De uit te voeren levering betreft de aankoop van een gespecialiseerde werkboot met boegklep voor de operationele ondersteuning van de dienst waterongevallen, gestationeerd in de post Deinze. De boot heeft een lengte van circa 6 meter en een maximale breedte van 2,50 meter, waardoor deze transporteerbaar blijft over de openbare weg op een containerslede en inzetbaar is op diverse waterwegen binnen het interventiegebied van de zone. De werkboot zal worden ingezet voor: • ondersteuning van brandweerduikers bij zoek- en reddingsoperaties; • vervoer van duikers, schippers en oppervlakte-assistenten tijdens interventies; • snelle evacuatie van slachtoffers vanaf moeilijk bereikbare oevers; • ondersteuning bij incidenten op bevaarbare en onbevaarbare waterlopen; • bergingsopdrachten en technische interventies op en rond het water; • ondersteuning van multidisciplinaire noodsituaties en civiele beschermingstaken; • opleidingen, trainingen en oefeningen van de duikdienst.
