Los 1 umfasst die regelmäßige Erstellung von Beiträgen (Text- und Multimedia) für das Onlinemagazin DAAD Journal, den Newsletter DAAD Aktuell und das zugehörige Projektmanagement. Zudem umfasst Los 1 die redaktionelle und gestalterische Erstellung, das Projektmanagement und die (Neu-)Konzeption des DAAD-Jahresberichts, der DAAD-Außenstellenberichte, des DWIH-Jahresberichts und von GATE-Germany Publikationen. Darüber hinaus können noch weitere Formate und Publikationen über das Los beauftragt werden. Ebenfalls Bestandteil von Los 1 sind Veröffentlichungen im Rahmen von Kampagnen und Sonderprogrammen. Dies umfasst die Formate Print (u. a. Broschüren, Flyer, Postkarten), digital/online (u. a. pdf-Broschüren/Flyer, e-paper, interaktive Broschüren), online (u. a. wissenschaftliche Online-Artikel, Redaktion von Webseiten und Grafiken, Newsletter etc.) sowie Bewegtbildformate (u. a.
