Die Sanierung der Sporthalle umfasst die grundlegende Änderung der Heizungsanlage und des gesamten Heizungskonzeptes. Des Weiteren muss die komplette Hülle des Gebäudes gedämmt werden. Die erfolgt teilweise als Vorhangfassade, teilweise als WDVS. Die Sporthalle ist brandschutztechnisch als Versammlungsstätte umzubauen.
