HumanOps sells a verified outcome: you specify a capability, a place and a deadline, we handle who performs it, and you receive structured evidence with a confidence score. If you want breadth and to choose the person, they fit better. If you want a machine-readable result you can act on without judging a profile, we do.
When the alternative is the better choice
- You want to browse and choose the individual, or build an ongoing relationship with them.
- You need coverage outside Europe, or in a European city we have not opened.
- The task is broad and hard to specify — a general errand rather than a defined capability.
- You are comfortable assessing the evidence yourself and do not need it verified or scored.

The actual difference
The difference is what you are buying. A marketplace sells you access to a person and leaves the assessment to you; the evidence is whatever they send. HumanOps sells trustworthy completion: the same physical work, plus integrity hashes, GPS and capture-time checks, duplicate and tampering detection, a check of whether the evidence actually answers the question, and a confidence score returned with its factors. That layer is the product, and it is why we are narrower — we only offer capabilities we can verify.
