Cos'è Partenariato esteso NEST, Spoke 6 progetto "Energy Storage" coordinato dal Politecnico di Torino. Il Bando sostiene la transizione all'energia sostenibile, secondo i micro-task pubblicati all'allegato 3. Spoke 6 “Energy Storage”, progetto che è finalizzato al raggiungimento dei seguenti obiettivi generali: - sviluppo di dispositivi e sistemi per accumulo termico basati sul calore sensibile (geotermia e termoclino ad alta efficienza), calore latente (PCM avanzato) e termochimico; - sviluppo di dispositivi e sistemi per l’accumulo di energia meccanica basati su pompaggio di energia termica, aria compressa ed energia cinetica; -sviluppo di soluzioni per batterie di generazione 3, 4 e superiori a 4 e ottimizzazione delle tecnologie consolidate; - sviluppo di sistemi e dispositivi innovativi per lo stoccaggio chimico; -sviluppo di soluzioni hardware e software per il controllo dei sistemi di accumulo e per il loro interfacciamento con le reti energetiche.
