This is wrong, and here is why
A figure, a source, a method or a sentence on these pages that is wrong can be reported here. Every report is logged on this page in public — the accepted ones, the rejected ones and why — and a correction is shown on the page it corrects, at the same size as what it corrects.
Say what is wrong and what shows it. Every report is read within 14 days and answered within 60, here, in public. Nothing about you is kept.
What happens to a report
- It is read and given a state within 14 days. Until then the log below lists it by number, date and page, without its text: nothing is published that nobody has read.
- It is answered within 60 days: accepted, partly accepted, rejected or a duplicate, always with the reason, and the text stays published whatever the answer.
- A report past either date is marked overdue in the log.
- An accepted correction is never a silent edit. A published figure is never changed: the correction is a new run, the old figure stays citable by its run number, and the page it corrects says so at the top.
- A right of reply is open to anyone a figure concerns. The model names no company, brand or person, but a state, a sector or a supply chain can be misdescribed, and the reply is logged here like any other report.
- Nothing about you is stored: no name, no e-mail address, no IP address. Follow a report by its number on this page. Please keep personal data out of what you write; if some arrives anyway, it is removed and the log says so.
